God himself—in the person of the Holy Spirit—takes up residence in us at the moment of our spiritual rebirth.
After that, with our permission, he expresses a specific set of his divine attributes in and through us as we walk in harmony with him: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Each person of the Trinity embodies these attributes equally.
The Bible calls their manifestation in us the fruit of the Spirit. Taken together, they translate into true contentment.
